BIG BANG To Focus on Their Japanese Tour Instead of Performing In Korea

Sorry VIPs, looks like BIG BANG won’t be promoting their upcoming special edition album “Still Alive” after all. Instead the guys will be focusing on their Japanese tour.
On May 29th, a representative from YG Entertainment stated, “The album is like a present for fans who loved the group’s fifth mini album. The group is not planning to promote in Korea.”
The representative continued, “BIG BANG will do their best preparing for their Japanese tour. They will release their album, but they will not perform on stage.”
BIG BANG kicked off their Japanese tour back on May 17th in Nagoya and plans to hold concerts in a total of 5 Japanese cities including Osaka, Saitama, and Fukuoka.
As for their upcoming album, it will include 9 tracks, 5 of which are new. The title song, “Monster” was written and composed by G-Dragon himself.
The album will release digitally on June 3rd along with the MV for “Monster” while the physical album will be released on June 6th.
