Five member jazz group Bye, Lupita have released their first full length album, titled “Voyage”, earlier this month. The band previously released their self-titled debut EP in 2010, following it up with another EP in 2011. Bye, Lupita consists of five members, vocalist Yun Seonyeong, pianist Lee Seongae, guitarist Kim Donghwan, double bassist An Wonseok, and drummer Bak Taeheon. “Voyage” features ten tracks, each composed, written, and arranged by the group’s members.
To complement the release of their first album, the group also revealed the MV for their title track “Illang Illang”. Featuring acoustic instrumentals along with clear vocals by vocalist Yun Seonyeong, the track creates a relaxing tone and continues to showcase the group’s distinct style of lounge music. The MV for the track depicts a young couple peacefully spending time with each other outdoors, providing for a comfortable visual to supplement the easygoing track.
