Girls’ Generation wins ‘Best Album of the Year’ at MTV Video Music Awards Japan
Girls’ Generation has won the ‘Best Album of the Year‘ category at MTV Video Music Awards Japan for their self-titled debut Japanese album, ‘Girls’ Generation’.
They beat out Lady Gaga‘s ‘Born This Way‘, KARA‘s ‘Super Girl‘, Coldplay‘s ‘Mylo Xyloto‘, and Juju‘s ‘You‘ in this star packed category. This album was recently certified “Million” by the Recording Industry Association of Japan (or ‘RIAJ’), for moving more than one million copies.
