Bye Bye Sea wins “Album of the Month” at the 6th Olle Awards


Bye Bye Sea, a four member Korean indie rock band was awarded the “Album of the Month” award at the 6th annual Olle Music Indie Awards. The awards were held on the 26th of May at the Mapo Art Center in Seoul.
The band received the honor for their album “Pink Revolution,” which was released in February. Fans were impressed by album and by the band’s growth and maturity. “Pink Revolution” displayed a stronger sound and easily showed the band’s journey.
Other indie bands to receive awards included Burnout House who won the year’s “Rookie Award” and the veteran group Peter Pan Complex who won the “Artist of the Month” award. Burnout House has only been around for little over a year, but they continue to impress fans with their live performances. Peter Pan Complex has been around for ten years. Their most recent album was released in March and has more of a electro-beat feel to it.
