On June 1st, Japan’s Oricon chart released the first quarter sales chart. Girls’ Generation’s first official photobook, ‘Holiday‘,
ranked in 7th place with 33,415 photo albums sold while 2PM, who
recently attracted over 100,000 audience members with their arena tour,
ranked in 8th place with their photobook, ‘2PM Arena Tour 2011‘,
with a total of 16,938 copies sold. These two idol groups are the only
Korean groups to have made it into the top of this quarter’s Oricon
chart.
Meanwhile, Girls Generation members are each working on their own
schedule while 2PM successfully finished their performance in Tokyo for
their ‘6 Beautiful Days‘ tour.
